Why ProPath Hematopathology? Our Hematopathologists Hematopathology Newsletters

In keeping with the ProPath mission, our division is dedicated to excellence in diagnostic hematopathology including (but not limited) to blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes. To this end, three extraordinary groups of pathologists have formed a division unparalleled in the region.

Quality in hematologic diagnosis depends on the experience and quality of the hematopathologists. To this end, ProPath has assembled a team of fellowship trained, subspecialty board-certified hematopathologists with more than 50 years combined experience and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, including several book chapters in the field. Complementing this are the ProPath specialty laboratories, including in-house immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, cytogenetics and molecular diagnostics. The result is an outstanding division, unparalleled in the region that provides rapid and comprehensive hematopathologic diagnoses.

The Division of Hematopathology also provides customized service for clients including, but not limited to, preparation of extra bone marrow biopsy histology sections for hematologist examination, easy access to a hematopathologist, training and help with bone marrow biopsy procedures, and immunohistochemical staining for various antigens.

As a physician-owned pathology practice, ProPath focuses on understanding the needs of our clinical colleagues to provide superior patient care. We also understand that these needs vary with specialty and physician preferences.
